Our Story
In 2009, Gonzalo Muñoz and Joaquín Arnolds set out to transform the way Chilean society relates to waste. Together with Manuel Díaz, they founded TriCiclos in honor of their dear friend and entrepreneur Nicolás Boetsch, who had passed away in an accident years earlier.
“Nico,” as they affectionately called him, often repeated a phrase that deeply inspired them: “When you face a problem, you have two options: look the other way or take responsibility.”
Joaquín, Manuel, and Gonzalo chose to take responsibility.
With the goal of changing consumption and waste disposal habits, they created recycling stations: material sorting points that transformed the recycling landscape in Chile.
In 2011, TriCiclos became the first Latin American company to be certified as a B Corporation, marking the beginning of a period of regional expansion. The company went on to operate in Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
This journey has given us a deep understanding of business needs and consumption dynamics. Today, this experience allows us to support our clients in redesigning products, services, and business models, promoting a more circular logic across the entire value chain.
We design, operate, and manage recycling stations adapted to each context. We promote source separation and material circularity, while strengthening environmental education and citizen participation.
We create and execute comprehensive campaigns focused on promoting the return and recovery of materials, enabling their reintegration into new production cycles.
We mobilize consumers, employees, and communities, fostering shared responsibility and strengthening awareness of the product life cycle.
Through these initiatives, we develop projects that drive behavioral change and contribute to more circular systems.

We rethink products, packaging, and business models so they are circular from the start.
We work alongside companies to implement regenerative solutions and minimize environmental impact across the entire value chain.
